About The Role

Do you have the passion and skills to be part of our hard working and forward-thinking Property Services Team.

Following recent internal changes, 2 fantastic opportunities have arisen for 2 Assistant Contract Manager's to join our busy Compliance & Building Safety Team.

The roles are permanent working 37 hours per week, on a flexible hybrid basis split between home and Partnership Building.

Assistant Contract Manager - Building Safety 
 

The role:

  • Understand, champion and implement the organisations Compliance policies, management plans and operational guidance
  • Assist the Building Safety Manager with risk identification and reduction, contract management/direction, quality assurance, tenant engagement and other tasks related to Building Safety works.
  • Provide effective support for the Building Safety Manager and wider Compliance team when necessary. To deputise for the Building Safety Manager when required.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with other Magenta stakeholders, both internal and external.

Previous experience or a clear understanding of building safety and effective compliance delivery within social housing, particularly high-rise blocks, is desirable. Ability to manage/direct subcontractors, ensuring proactive communication, adherence to timelines and quality of completed works.

Assistant Contract Manager - Electrical & Lift Safety
 
  • To support Manager in ensuring electrical safety and lift compliance in accordance with the organisations statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • To assist with the management and performance of contractors delivering compliance works.
  • Provide effective support for the Contract Manager and wider Compliance Team when necessary.  To deputise for Contract Manager when required.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with other Magenta stakeholders, both internal and external.

The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must and ideally you should be proficient in Microsoft packages and keen to build and expand your knowledge further. A desire to continually improve, challenge and deliver efficiency every day will all be key attributes for the successful candidates.

The successful candidates will need to be able to effectively travel between home, head office, subcontractor offices and other sites as required – so a driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
